I was recommended Tim by a friend and I approached him as a first time buyer, he took the time to explain all of the different mortgages and fees as well as providing all the necessary advice and guidance that helped me select the best mortgage for my circumstances. Tim has just helped me move onto a better deal now that my 2 year rate is coming to an end, I am once again delighted with the service and advice Tim have provided and I can't recommend him enough.

Tim has been exceptionally helpful throughout the whole process of buying my house. As a first time buyer, buying a property on my own, I had very little idea of what I was doing, and Tim was a great help in explaining everything that needed to be done - I felt that no question was too stupid to ask! Being self-employed for only a short period of time, having recently changed my surname by deed poll and buying a house in the middle of the pandemic meant getting a mortgage was not straightforward. Tim was really reassuring about these problems and worked really hard on my behalf to get the mortgage approved with the bank.
I received prompt replies to all my emails and Tim would regularly call and email just to update me on how things were progressing. Tim seemed to genuinely care about my house purchase and getting everything sorted with the mortgage. I cannot recommend Tim enough.

Tim is exceptional! From start to finish he has been attentive, supportive and get's the job done and is always on hand to help. He worked tirelessly to secure us a great mortgage deal and we always felt like we were in safe, trustworthy hands. We were initially with another mortgage broker but getting nowhere and we were worried about swapping to someone else so far into the process but it was the best decision we made.

Cherrywood Mortgages can search through an extensive range of products. The products and services offered were clearly explained, in plain speak rather than using industry jargon. Very friendly, answered all questions and returned calls without having to chase. We had two houses where the sale collapsed and new valuation/mortgage submissions were needed. Tim reacted very quickly with updating information and arranging the valuations at short notice. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Tim and Cherrywood Mortgages for anything in the future.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish with Cherrywood Mortgages. My partner and I were buying our first house so naturally (and others have already stated the same) wanted a broker who could to advise us on the best products for our financial background / employment status and deposit %. From the very start of the process we knew we were in very safe hands; there wasn’t a stage of the process which was not fully explained (in a non-patronising manner) and we felt assured throughout that Tim had our best interests at hand and worked very hard to get us the best product available for our personal circumstances at a competitive interest rate. Tim worked meticulously on the mortgage application, getting full clarity on every bit of detail to ensure we had the highest chances of success and approval.

As first time buyers we got in touch with Tim after a colleague who recently bought a house recommended him. Tim got us a good mortgage but did so much more as well. He was keen to work, chat or help at pretty much any time of day. He helped guide us through the whole house buying process, including looking up home and life insurance cover options for us and recommending handymen and builders he knew.
He stayed in touch helping with home insurance and suchlike long after we'd got the mortgage agreed and he had been fully paid. Will definitely talk to him in a few years when it's time to renew my mortgage!

As first-time buyers, the process of purchasing our house was bound to be confusing and somewhat intimidating. But with Tim's advice, expertise and hard work, it was a lot less frustrating and difficult than it could have been. He was helpful from day one, always on hand to answer questions, and I'm so glad we used his services. Not only did he arrange our mortgage from start to finish, he found solicitors that matched the lenders' panel, kept in contact with them throughout the process, and was always in touch to update us. I'd highly recommend Tim to anyone looking for a mortgage or purchasing a property.

Was recommended tim from a good friend, and I can honestly say he's worth his weight in gold. Having a property currently let out, but being self-employed in this current market made getting a second home difficult, but none the less tim helped me to get a mortgage, get the details and work around me. Any time of day I could get hold of tim, if I was unsure of anything, or needed questions answering.
